Terms of Service
These terms set out how the Freelancinu platform may be used, and form an agreement between you and the Website. The Website is run by Freelancinu, an independent developer rather than a company. You can get in touch at labas@freelancinu.lt.
By using the Website, registering, or publishing an offer, you confirm that you have read these terms and will follow them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Website.
Effective from: 2026-07-23.
What Freelancinu is, and what we do not do
Freelancinu is a listings platform where freelancers publish their services and people looking for them can get in touch. Using the platform is free and we take no commission.
It matters what the platform does NOT do:
- we are not a party to your agreement: scope, price, deadlines and payment are agreed directly between you;
- we do not process payments or hold money, so we offer no protection or guarantee around getting paid;
- we do not verify qualifications, licences or the quality of anyone's work, and we do not vouch for them;
- we do not represent either side and we do not settle disputes between you.
Offers are reviewed before publication, but that is a content check against our rules, not an endorsement of the freelancer or their work.
Your account
Only registered users can publish. Give accurate details when you register and keep them up to date. An account is personal: it may not be used on behalf of someone else.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for everything done from your account. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication in your account settings. If you notice unauthorised access, tell us at labas@freelancinu.lt.
The Website is for people with legal capacity to contract. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
Offers and review
What an individual offer may contain is covered by the separate Listing rules. By publishing an offer you confirm that you are entitled to provide the services described and to use the images you upload.
Every new and every edited offer goes into review and becomes visible only once approved. We may decline an offer, giving a reason, and remove a published one if it breaks the rules or the law.
Limits apply to how many offers you can publish and how long they stay live, so the platform does not fill up with repeated content. At present that is one offer per day and a small number per 30 days, and a published offer stays live for a limited period after which it can be renewed. The current figures are shown in the offer form and may change.
What you agree to do
When using the Website you agree:
- not to break Lithuanian law or other people's rights;
- not to give false information or impersonate another person or business;
- not to send unsolicited advertising or repeatedly post the same content;
- not to harvest other users' data by automated means or use the Website's data to build another service;
- not to attempt to bypass sign-in, limits or security measures, or to disrupt the Website;
- to communicate in a businesslike way, without abuse.
If you spot a breach of the rules, report the offer with the "Report" button. Reports are reviewed by a person, and an offer is never removed automatically because it was reported.
Your content
Content you upload stays yours. By uploading it you grant us a royalty-free right to store, display and technically adapt it (for example, to resize an image or generate variants), as far as is needed to run and present the platform.
Published offer images are watermarked with the Website's mark. You are responsible for holding the rights to everything you upload, images included.
When an offer or an account is deleted, the related content is removed. Note that we cannot control copies held by search engines or other websites.
Messages between users
Messaging on the Website is for discussing services. Messages are private and we do not read them, except where it is necessary to deal with a report of abuse or where the law requires it.
Messaging may not be used for advertising, bulk offers or fraud. Accounts that misuse it may be restricted.
Availability
The Website is provided as it is. We aim to keep it running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service: maintenance, faults, or third-party outages can happen.
We may change, suspend or discontinue individual features or the service as a whole. Where we plan significant changes, we give advance notice as far as is reasonably possible.
Liability
Because we are not a party to your agreement, we are not liable for other users' conduct, the information they publish, the quality of work done, deadlines or payment. You contract directly with each other and take on the associated risk.
We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profit or lost content, as far as the law allows. These limits do not apply where liability cannot be limited by law, nor to intentional acts or gross negligence.
If a third party brings a claim against the Website because of your conduct or the content you published, you agree to resolve it at your own cost.
Restricting and ending an account
You can delete your account at any time in your account settings. Deleting it removes your offers, images and messages.
We may restrict or end access where these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, where the law requires it, or where an account is used to harm other users. Where reasonably possible we explain the reason and give you a chance to put it right.
Personal data
What we collect, on what basis, and what rights you have is described in a separate document: Privacy Policy. These terms apply to using the Website alongside it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the platform changes or legal requirements do. We announce significant changes on the Website or by email, with a new effective date.
Continuing to use the Website after a change means you accept it. If you do not, you can stop using the Website and delete your account.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. Disputes are settled by negotiation and, failing that, by the courts of the Republic of Lithuania under the applicable rules of jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, these terms do not remove rights given to you by mandatory consumer-protection law.
For any question about these terms, write to labas@freelancinu.lt.
